| The Top 20 Café Songs for 2010 April 25, 2010 By Ramy Abu-Yousef Here we are again, at the beginning of a new decade, and we’ve compiled the best of the best new songs released in the past year for use in a restaurant or café setting. As always, the criteria we used in coming up with this list are as follows: 1) It must have a release date from 2009; 2) It must create or enhance a mood that works in a café setting (happy, uplifting, loungy, etc.); 3) It must contain no dramatic audio or tempo changes or audible profanity; 4) We try to avoid mainstream music as often as possible as you’ve likely already heard those songs and can decide for yourselves which of them you’d like to add to your playlist. Our goal is and always has been to introduce and expose you to new music that works well in a restaurant or café setting. We hope, and judging by your feedback and comments over the last 3 years, think we have done that successfully. |
